I have BAD NEWS!!!

As you guys know that I've been talking to Jim Doty the manager of Dayco and he said that he could make the belt for us.

Well I spoke to Bill Sellers (ironic last name) today at 2:30pm and he said that the company won't make the belt in order to sell to private individuals. We have to be a corporation or a company. I told him that there are 6 of us that were interested and I was willing to buy 3 belts and I know some of you might buy more than 1 as well. I told him about this website and our SC setup and how he might have future customers who would buy this belt from them.

He still said no. He said that if he did it for us he would have to do it for everybody. He just doesn't see it as being profitable for the company. :rant:

Jim is willing to fabricate it, but it looks like Sales have the final say. SUCKS!!! :(

We should try and call someones else. Gates, maybe goodyear?
Just because some douche bag at Dayco wount sell it doesnt mean that someone else wont. Goodyear or Gates might even just say yes for better customer service if you tell them about your experience with Dayco.
