Im ordering a couple sets for myself plus whatever anybody else is looking to purchase as well.

I would not recomend using bearings that have been used before. Your asking for trouble if you do. Only use new bearings.

I did some research and found that the bearings from supercharger rebuilds are custom assembled. In other words he bought a bearing and put his own components in it. I would much rather have a bearing that was manufactured for what were trying to do. Let me know when they come in.

He's right. Don't use old bearings.

I wish I could jump on this. I know you said that you have a relative working for a bearing company, what company are these bearings coming from?

            Good luck.

He rebuilt and then decided to go with the xb series, so he didn't have them on long at all. But I don't trust the distributor

Its not so much about how much they were used. It has a lot more to do with the forces exerted on them to get them in and then back out. especilly if heat was involved in the process.
