    Say hello to the 3.5 grape. The 3500 is bolted to the 4l60e trans running off the stock ecm and the 3.4 liter 17lb stock injectors. Fuel and ignition is controlled by the perfect power smt6 unit and (1) 160lb fuel injector. The cam sensor lobe was modified to send the ecm the correct signal. The crankshaft sensor signal comes from a notched harmonic dampener. Some more tuning and tweeks are still needed but so far the car runs awesome.

    Looks awesome. Did you do a top end swap or use the whole 3500?

        3500 swap. 3.4 water pump and timing cover. Homemade motor mounts and headers.

                  Few questions:
                  What accessories are you using? FWD/RWD?
                  Any wiring harness modifications?
                  Got any pics of the the motor mounts?

                  I would love to see that thing in person if you ever go to a track or something.

                    The accessories are from the 3.4 liter motor. Only minor wiring mods had to be done.
                    The starter wire and cable had to be moved to the other side of the block. The fuel injector wires were separated to reach the injectors. If your ever in Jersey your welcome to stop by.

                      I know I'm a little late but nice swap. Was the turbo setup swapped over from the 3.4 or built for this motor? As for fuel you're running 17lb injectors and an additional injector somewhere further upstream to compensate for boost?
                      96 White M5 Camaro. Manual everything. Magnaflow cat, dynomax dual outlet axle back. Swapped to a disc rear with 3.42s and a torsen differential, kyb gr2 rear shocks, moog rear endlinks.

                        Yes, it's the same turbo set up from the 3.4 with the stock 17lb injectors. The additional fuel injector is mounted right after the throttle body. pictured below.

                          I always thought that the 3500 wasn't a push rod engine.

                          Aren't you the fastest 3.4 V6?

                            The LX9 3500 engine is a push rod engine. I believe I still own the record for a 3.4 in a f-body. I haven't been to the track yet but have plans on going soon. Thanks for the compliment.
