Thats still about 500lbs heavier than the lt1. Or any other gasoline powered v8 for that matter.
This is true, but a far cry from 2300.
At anyrate that's a GM 6.5 in the video, which I agree is crazy to put in there. You really can't tune them up like a Cummins an they tend to run hot in the trucks anyway so I hope he has a big radiator....
