You can use a 99+ manifold but it has to be used with a fwd throttle body which has the IAC valve integrated to the manifold...

It is NOT a bolt-on - I know - I've done it.

Is there any benefits of going with a straight intake? Ive been fine with the angled one for 23 years.

Only reason for me is for it to mate to the ram air properly.

Maybe next summer. Need to grind the TB to re-route the PCV and UIM inlet. Also most got the PCV oil separator done though.

Not really just buying parts here and there, plan is to have the turbo cam, double roller , lifters , intakes installed in November then ill tune it a couple months N/A then install the turbo. Don't know if I'll have it painted first then turbo kit. Will see how it goes.

Bought a bead roller so I can bead roll the aluminum ends for the intercooler pipping. Got it at jegs for $130. Was using mild steel and welding the ends so the silicone couplers wouldn't blow off. Also bought a Dynomax 6" bullet muffler , for the open downpipe upfront. It will still be loud, got a new 3" downpipe coming too.
