I heard turbo boost doesnt put as much strain on the internals as superchargers do, is this true? and how?
If I were to put the boost up to 8psi wat hp should I see (is it possible to raise the boost)

At what rpm do you experience boost?

yes, whenever your engine comes under load. and 6-8psi is roughly!!! about 100 flywheel horsepower

well 7 psi dynoed 280 rwhp and 320 rwtq on the 3.8 with problems so, thats 100-110 rwhp gain assuming he was at 170 ish bone stock (pretty high assumption IMO ;) )

they love to make lots of tq.

Its been way to long since I been in RAdcat's car so I don't know when he gets boost anymore but I know its alot earlier then me because of the turbo selection we did. Mine is oversized a bit on the exaust but I get full boost at 3000 RPM.

Does that mean it would work well with a 3000-3200stall converter? :D

On a 3.8, what size turbo would I need to get the boost on at 2800-3k rpms? Also, where does the exhaust post-turbo come out? Over the k or under the k or something else?

Reason I'm asking is that my car is just a wee bit lowered (lowest point is about 3" off the ground)and with all the speed bumps in my area, I don't want to destroy the setup.

Sorry if I missed it, I'm sure its likely that its already been said, but I don't remember seeing it in all the posts about the kit. I'm looking into having enough money saved up for this by August

with 6-8psi on an otherwise mostly stock car(stockish weight and gears) what kind of ET/MPH are you expecting people to see otu fo the kit?
also, in a stick car, is the turbo able to spool a few psi for launch? or is it load sensitive?

thanks

I'd like to see some updated numbers for the 3.8 kits, dyno numbers and track times. I wanna see how far this kit can go before I decide.
