My last N/A dyno before I added the blower was 220rwhp and 235rwtq. I hope to be close to 300 at the wheels on the next dyno and over 300 with the nitrous.

I haven't been to the track yet but it feels like a mid to low 13 sec car. Stock LT1's are not a challenge, I've been doing some door to door racing with modded V8's now.

Those numbers are great. What all bolt ons have you done? Do you think it makes a big difference that you use a Ram Air and Air lid with the Supercharger, or do you think it's only a couple HP advantage?

And Preston - Yes you will knocking down some nice numbers!

I like your car. Looks great and its very impressive. 300RWHP thats like more than a vette. And with the nitrous. Oooh **** make way for ironman

I was thinking of a similar setup as yours.

I always thought the vette was right around 300RWHP stock. Atleast the one they dyno'd on HPTV was at 300. Maybe a Z06 is around 325 or more.

Well whatever thats kinda off topic for this post. I just think a 300RWHP is pretty cool for a v6 fbody.

Thanks guys. I hope to bring you back some impressive numbers from the 1/4 mile soon. Hopefully I won't have traction problems with the nitrous.

I have a mods list here:

http://www.mycar.net/mafb/registry/detail.cfm?id=131

I thought the Whisper lid and SLP scoop was a good mod for N/A. I'm not sure it really matters with the blower, it's going to suck in what air it wants. I think the important thing is to make sure it has a nice large unrestricted path to flow the air.

I have the 9lb pulley setup on my Powerdyne Unit and I'm currently getting roughly between 9-9.5lbs. However, in order to get that boost, you have tighten the $hit out of the belt. At one time, I was getting 11 lbs until the belt stretched. The thing is that you have to keep tightening the belt until it doesn't stretch anymore. As I said earlier, right now I'm getting 9lbs but it may drop down to 8,7 or 6lbs if the belt stretches anymore. That is what happened with my last belt. This new belt is about 1 inch shorter so I hope when it is stretched out to the point it won't stretch anymore, I can maintain the 9lbs.

Hey what kind of belt are you using? I'm still on the belt that came with the blower and it's holding up fine for 6lbs. Do you have the part number by chance? I'm going to need some kind of solution for this 9lb pulley.

Ike, if you were asking about tuning on my car I only have a MAFT+ to tune with. I really need a custom tune but the MAFT+ is getting me by for now.

Mike, the part # on the shorter belt is k061038 which is a Gates part# That belt is 103.8 inches long vs. the original 104.5 inch belt. I put this belt on about 2 months ago and tightened it twice since then. Right now the tensioner is at its max, so I can't tighten the belt anymore. However, I'm remaining at 9-9.5lbs of boost so I hope the belt won't stretch anymore. But like I said earlier, you have to really tighten the belt (i.e. hammer and 6 inch socket extension used as chisel) to get the 9lb pulley not to slip.

Ike, I did not do any fine tuning on my setup. I plan on doing that in the near future to get a few extra hp. I'll let you all know when I get that done.

so, i'm guessing you couldn't get it and run a 6psi pully...without any computer mods? (in other words, do you need the maft+ to run it?)
i mean...does it come with a chip or anything? or is it plug and play?
or plug and pray?

Great, thanks for the part number. When I put the belt on my 6lb install I had a friend hammering the tensioner while I tightened, that's the only way to get it snug. I only tightened it once since then and it's been right on 6lbs. Hopefully this will help me run 9lbs.

Ike, on a mostly stock car the powerdyne unit is basicly "plug and play" With the cam and other mods on my car I really need to use the MAFT+ to tune, and it's only a bandaid for right now until I can get some custom tuning.

Hey Mike, beatiful car!! I love the engine! I have a question: what does the MAF translator do? (I thought that part was only made for the LS1's).
