and all you people thought turbos ruled superchargers. turbos have over a second to catch up to the supercharger.

i was there too this car is for real the trailer it was brought in was just about as impressive as the car
the the car is sooooooooooooooooooooo clean ohh yea he has nitrous on top of the big *** blower it has and its a c5r motor like a 38X i think or a 39X its not a 400+ci motor
he made many passes all like 8.7-8.5, he raced madman (built sbc with nitrous that runs like 8.7) for 3K bucks madman won because he was faster off the tree but the c5r motor trans am ran a faster time by a tenth or 2

That's b/c he's boosting more than the fastest turbo LS1 (formerly Rob Raymer's of www.quartermileperformance.com) by about 5psi. He's also spraying and I don't know about this SuperCharged LS1, but the turbo LS1 was very streetable w/ a full interior and a race-weight of almost 3900lbs. Trust me, the turbo LS1 w/ more boost and weight reduction can run w/ this SuperCharged T/A. All in all, major props to this guy [img]graemlins/thumbsup.gif[/img]
