stock exhaust sucks. do at least a little build up first. I'd suggest exhaust, headers and cat if u can afford them and put them on(5 yrs., 50k miles till u can change the converter), lca's for traction, sfc's for the chassis, and maybe bigger tires for more traction(255-50-16's for stock rims)along with LSD/gears. A TC will help a lot in an auto, but can be installed later after the FI for even more fun. Then get w/e FI system u want, turbo, sc, ect.

2001 Arctic White Firebird<br />More mods than I\'m allowed to list!
i say all the mods depends on whether he is going turbo route or supercharger route.
if its turbo.. screw the exhaust, run open down pipe.
if its turbo.. open up the exhaust. headers, highflow cat, catback system.
but either or.. get LSD. you'll most likely need it.

I'm pretty sure im going turbo. im thinkin custom forward swept headers (one of my friends has been welding for years with tig so it shouldn't be a problem). All i was planning on doing, as far as exhaust was a high flow cat and a loudmouth cat-back. i dont want it too loud so i think the cat is best left on. but i'm deffinately convinced i at least need sfc's before and more after. i think im gonna get the lsd before and the gears later. as for tires im just sticking with my 245's they are fine for the time being but may make them wider whan i need a new set. I'm only planning on running the standard 7psi of boost so i should be fine as far as my engine holding up. so basically (to sum up this entire post in one sentence) im gonna get sfc', the lsd, and upgrade my exhaust before i add the turbo. thanks for all the help.
