I pick up the car yesterday, the car sounds really good. I didn't get on it that much, just 1st and 2nd gear, but it felt like I still had the supercharger on it. I put 9:5.1 forged pistons, VS cam, intense main and rod bearings, lightweight pushrods, intense hydr. rollers, L67 connecting rods( my machine shop would not touch the L32 rods to shave them down), upper intake ported/polished, lower one I did have ported and polished but their was something messed up with the injector holes, so I used the old one. I put on some heads that were milled and ported a little bit and polished. Also just all new internals such as water pump, oil pump, fuel reg, etc. This weekend I'm installing the walbro 255 high pressure fuel pump and maybe next week i'll be putting on the supercharger. I'll keep you updated.

how much did all that cost? i am guessing you are going for supercharge or turbo with those internal mods?? I bet you could run a high boost now.

Total cost for parts was about $2300 and labor was about $1200. I was going to rebuild my engine anyways since it had 119,000 miles on it, so I said what the hell, might as well as go with the good stuff. I have been buying parts for this rebuild for the past year so I just pretty much had to pay for the labor yesterday. As for doing this just for the powerdyne, I'm just seeing what it will do with just internals, then with the powerdyne and the with a shot of nos. I had been running the powerdyne for over a year with stock internals so I just want to get a little extra out of it.

Man, that does sound good. I wish I would have found that manifold spacer when I got my heads done, also I should have put in new rockers, like SLP's 1.8 ones. That would have woke up the top end. I want to get in some new low compression pistons lke 8-1 to run some huge boost numbers. That thing should move out damn nice when it is done. don't do that, just drop compression w/ porting the combustion chamber. 8.5:1 would be good for at least 15 psi intercooled turbo w/ stock tuning.

Right now the tuning is great, but I haven't really gotten on it since I'm still breakin it in. I didn't really port the heads that much so I'm thinking thats why it's running good. The cam sounds great and I can't wait to put the blower back on.

What are upset that someone did all that for something beside your turbo kit?
I am not CRAZY just temporarily disturbed.

he shoudl just go for a turbo now since his engine is rebuild he can run higher boost, I think that is what tiago is saying becuase powerdyne has not really impressed anyone.

no just think the powerdyne will never push more then what a stock motor could hold anyway, so whats the point.
