How about approximate hp limits of some of the stock components on V6 f-bodies when using forced induction (and some common upgrades).
For example on the 3800
stock: 22 lb/hr injectors ~211 hp
upgrade#1: 24 lb/hr injectors ~230 hp
upgrade#2: 36 lb/hr injectors ~345 hp(needs tuning)
stock MAF: 170 g/s ~221 hp
upgrade LT1: MAF ~450 g/s ~585 hp (needs tuning)
stock fuel pump: ~200 hp (but only about 50,000 miles)
upgrade: Walbro fuel pump ~750 hp www.racetronix.com
stock automatic 4L60-E ~360 ft/lbs
upgrade: 4L65-E ~400-425? ft/lbs (needs 3800 bellhousing&tailshaft, other?)
stock head gasket ~350 hp?
0.074 MLS head gasket ~450 hp? (and lowers compression to 9.2:1)
Anyone free to chime in if you've reached the limit of a part before these guestimates.

^ that is good..i recommend the things Shirl said..commonly used supporting mods (fuel pumps, TRCs, BOVs, etc) and a description of the JD power wrap with a diagram <b>12 SECOND DUAL STAGE DRY NITROUS POWERED 98 A4 V6 CAMARO<br /><a href=\"http://www.mysickcamaro.50megs.com\" target=\"_blank\">www.MySickCamaro.50megs.com</a><br />Best ET: 12.82@103<br />Best MPH: 104.7<br />Best 60\': 1.75 - Stock TC</b><br /> </font><blockquote><font size=\"1\" face=\"Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif\">quote:</font><hr /><font size=\"2\" face=\"Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif\">Originally posted by Shodown:<br /><strong>1DV6 runs 12\'s...enough said. </strong></font><hr /></blockquote><font size=\"2\" face=\"Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif\">

also..James came up with this one in the nitrous section..everyone posted their kit and what they are using..what shot level..etc..its a good idea if you want to talk to someone who is using a particular setup you are interested in..maybe a post where everyone posts what THEY use..boost level, intercoolers, pumps, BOV, TRCs, dyno numbers, best ETs, etc..eh..i'll go start it up <b>12 SECOND DUAL STAGE DRY NITROUS POWERED 98 A4 V6 CAMARO<br /><a href=\"http://www.mysickcamaro.50megs.com\" target=\"_blank\">www.MySickCamaro.50megs.com</a><br />Best ET: 12.82@103<br />Best MPH: 104.7<br />Best 60\': 1.75 - Stock TC</b><br /> </font><blockquote><font size=\"1\" face=\"Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif\">quote:</font><hr /><font size=\"2\" face=\"Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif\">Originally posted by Shodown:<br /><strong>1DV6 runs 12\'s...enough said. </strong></font><hr /></blockquote><font size=\"2\" face=\"Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif\">

Cool.
Maybe I will draw up a John_D wrap diagram...if he doesn't beat me to it. You really don't need it...but some new folks seem to get sorta scared by the simple pics that are out there. It can only go one way once you run the belt from the crank directly to the ac pulley...but a diagram is probably a good idea. I'll try and get on that 1Dangerous.
a thourough detailing of injector upgrades would be niee....part names, brand names, what fits what without modification....etc. Like what RGB has suggested but with part numbers, etc..not just performance limits.
We already have the fuel pump swap guide on here as a sticky somewhere don't we? I seem to remember some problems with people trying to figure out which pump to get...two choices of Wahlbro 255's or something like that....?
I think Viper is all over the Fuel Presure Sender installation fittings for the fuel rail schraeder valve. That would be a good sticky. Simple but very helpful.
For the powerdyne specific crowd...the John_D wrap diagram as suggested by Dangerous and my overview of the Grooved Pulley vs Smooth pulley. (it is also a guide for removing and swapping pulley.)
http://home.comcast.net/~grayman99/GroovedvsSmooth.htm
Good luck with the stickies Shirl. Good idea.

Yes the diagram would be nice, also a diagram of the manual tensioner location. That's goona be my install problem # 2. Why not put a diagram of the rk sports kit, and the location of parts? I know I got mine used with no instructions, and the mcanda's great but not a tell all. Shirl,
The "m" in .htm link extension for the 'grooved vs smooth pulley page is missing.

yeaha diagram of the tensioner assembly would be nice too..i had a hell of a time figuring that one out because none of the instructions have great pictures of it or FULLY describe where to put all the parts..as far as the JD power wrap diagram..i think theres one floating around here somewhere..i'll take a look for it..i personally would like to see an injector page too <b>12 SECOND DUAL STAGE DRY NITROUS POWERED 98 A4 V6 CAMARO<br /><a href=\"http://www.mysickcamaro.50megs.com\" target=\"_blank\">www.MySickCamaro.50megs.com</a><br />Best ET: 12.82@103<br />Best MPH: 104.7<br />Best 60\': 1.75 - Stock TC</b><br /> </font><blockquote><font size=\"1\" face=\"Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif\">quote:</font><hr /><font size=\"2\" face=\"Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif\">Originally posted by Shodown:<br /><strong>1DV6 runs 12\'s...enough said. </strong></font><hr /></blockquote><font size=\"2\" face=\"Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif\">

Regarding original author of PCV bypass:
I beieve Riles to be the author of the original 'Vented Throttle Body' mod. (drill holes in the side of TB and plug the PRONT PCV hole in TB) At least riles was the first and only website I ever found that had a write up on that mod.
I have know idea who came up with the 'valve cover breather PCV bypass mod' (block the back of TB PCV port and install valve cover breather) But everyone (veterans) seems to know about it.
