shane doesnt have a kit for the general public.. he is not mass producing it..

the response i made in a different post had to do with what me and shane talked about a while back..

has nothing to do with him selling kits..

damn! and I thought 7psi was not much, any goals for boost man? I was thinking over 14psi would put our cars up there to like 11's but we need internals. I am saving up all my money to try and do internals with turbo. Hopefully I will have enough by the end of the summer since I go to college I don't make that much.

Shirl has boost and nitrous yes, but she is only running 6 Psi and 100 shot. (correct me if I'm wrong).

that is correct...Also, Shane runs an >>intercooler>>>just wanted to make that clear because people are under the assumption that you can run 12's with 7psi by itself. The intercooler adds a decent amount of HP to the intake charge.

To me running boost without an intercooler is up there with running nitrous without a filter...

intercoolers don't add much power themselves...

allowing cooler air, and reading boost pressure after the ic, allows more air to be moved, with said "boost pressure"

as well as more timing allowed due to cooler intake charge

Probably adds about 50 more hp. by cooling the intake charge. Add that to 7psi...

Dream on. At the 7psi level you can figure its only 20-30hp. On top of that shanes IC is not mounted in the best position IMO (limited by the car's design), and doesn't have fans sucking directly through it. And we don't have the IAT tables altered in the computer to do a whole lot with timing and air temps

It'd be interesting to dyno without the intercooler and then with it to see exactly how much more power it makes. Is it a water to air or air to air intercooler?
