  • FMU calibration setting for Powerdyne?

Anyone know what the specs are for the FMU that is sold with the powerdyne kit. I was going to attempt to rebuild mine with the kit Powerdyne sells. It's an adjustable rebuild kit from 8:1 to 10:1. I'm assuming 10:1 supplies more fuel over the 8:1 correct?

I don't know which one you need, but I do know the answer to the ratio numbers...

It's the extra psi added, for each lb of boost.

So the 10:1 will kick the fuel up 10psi for each lb of boost.

I am running 6:1- the manual says that your fuel should be between 60 and 70 psi at 6 psi of boost.

Seeing as that we idle at 45-50 psi, you need an increase of 10-20 psi over 6 boost psi. Playing it safe on the 70 side, that works out to somewhere between 3:1 and 4:1.

I didnt feel comfortable running 4:1, so I put in a little extra fuel (probably running rich with 6:1)

The 8:1 is the universal one that PD sells. Most us PD owners here probably have this.

The adjustable one, is that from Vortech?

I found a rebuild kit for sale:

              http://www.superchargersonline.com/p...ber=V6Z270-010

I need to rebuild the FMU I have since my A/F ratio was super lean on my recent dyno.

I'm selling this blower to a local 3.8 bud and want to make sure I get the correct ratio installed when I rebuild the FMU.
