Planning on FFF kit but wants different BOV and Boost Controller
Planning on FFF kit but wants different BOV and Boost Controller
Hi, I'm planning on getting the FFF turbo kit over the summer(Have $2000 saved up now). And I was wondering if I can buy my own Boost Controller and a BOV and not buy them with the kit so I can save money? I'm planning on getting a nice Blitz BOV and Blitz Electronic Boost Controller while I'm in Japan this summer(Go junkyard huntin). How hard would it be to get those to to fit the FFF kit?
Also, how good are the spearco intercoolers? I just want to get all the good stuff when I install the kit so I wont have to upgrade stuff later on.
you wont have to upgrade intercoolers. The BOV and controller are nice upgrades. We are not including the boost controllers any longer in hte kits. only the GP peeps got it. To upgrade to a Blitz BOV from us we usually charge ~$250 for the additoinal parts and labor to modify the kit.
So how much would the cheap boost controller cost??

Tiago, I am probably getting a kit from FFF in a couple of months, and want to know the approximate price for the kit+ all recommended upgrades. I am not talking about any upgrades I need to do to the engine, just the turbo kit. Thanks.
Ok, thanks. What I will need to do is find someone with a list of performance parts. I will have about $10,000 to put into this car over the summer, and I want to build up the engine, and then add a turbo. Unfortunately, I am not a mechanic, so I don't even know where to start.
Talk with Josh at Full Throttle Performance Parts, he'll get you moving in the right direction and provides great service. With $10,000 you should have a VERY nice set up
