l67 shortblock a good start for high boost application?
l67 shortblock a good start for high boost application?
I have found an l67 shortblock with 100000miles on it for $250CAD(about 180US)....
Is that too high miles for the money? Would it give me a good start for building a high boost turbo application? (15-18psi?)
Are the L67 cranks stronger than ours?
thanks

So basically i'd be buying pistons and rods for that... the rest is the same as mine, but higher mileage..
Okay cool thanks.

Originally posted by CaffeineAddict: Its not worth buying the whole block, you can buy the pistons and rods for around 600$ Get L32 rods
$600 is a LOT more than $180 no?
Could I build up the block to swap into my car? or just strip the good parts out for mine?

L67 injectors are located in the heads. It's not a better location, just the only place they could put them because the blower took up to much intake space.
