its more like.. how much knowledge does this book offer?

i can learn about turbo's and making them work from some friends..

but if this book has way more to offer, such as choosing the right turbo, fuel management, blablabla such and such.. then i think i'll be getting the book

Might as well read it. It's a good resource regardless of how much you've read elsewhere.

Why wouldn't you read it? Much better source of info then this or most other message boards. Are you worried about it being incorrect or something?
