Just out of curiosity... have you called RK Sport and asked them to look at the blower? I'd try anything at this point. Maybe you could tell them you bought it from them years ago and now something is wrong with it... anything... wow, it seems like you are having so many problems, I haven't even read them all... but I'd be pissed at the idiot who sold it to ya that's for sure. It's probably costing you as much as you would have spent for a new one..

Sorry I'm late, I only have the computer at work to work on and I'm coming back from holiday. I'm going to go on a limb and say that your FP is not connected right. Even if you didn't have the FMU, your FP can still read at 40-45 and the needle would move when accelerating, even without the SC.
Make sure you file down on that oil bracket so that there is no rubbing. Move that IAT at the discharge tube and be sure all your pulleys are in good condition. I've changed idler and tensioner pulleys before.
Have your bro. who's probably stronger, tighten the belt for you a couple of times. First run the car for awhile. Tighten the belt. Run it again for awhile and tighten it again. New belt does stretch.
You do need the third mounting bracket. I've seen other SC setup and they could have anywhere from 4 to 6 mounting bracket. We only have 3. You want an equal strength on all side. If you don't have it, take it to a machine shop and have them fabricate one. Show them a picture from Grayman's site.
Last, just be patients. We all went through dealing with bugs. I had the same experience too when I first got my blower. I keep taking it back to Vector Perf. and they keep giving it back to me and telling me that there is no problem.
Remember, you are now forcing air into your engine instead of just pumping it. It will take awhile for your car to get use to it (computer wise). I've experienced low speed mode a couple of times when I remove my SC and install it again.
I personally never liked the cone filter anymore. I would do a whisper lid and a ram air kit.
Also be sure you have highflow cat. and good muffler. Good luck.

Thank you so much, I love you too I have an FMU on the way. 8:1. I cannot express my gratitude to all of you for helping me out. Of all the sites I visit, this by far is the best. It just gives me a warm fuzzy feeling to know that there are some really caring people out there. Greyman, are you sure you want me making brackets? I don't need a lawsuit you know. Jessi's "Brackets R Us" would not last very long i'm afraid. Greyman, Mighty Thor, Shirl, Viper, (especially for hosting my pics )and anyone else I might have missed Thanks again,
Getting the stuff for the stock airbox today. Ate some water on the way to work, could not be helped. Rigged a plate at work underneath the air filter, till my emergency mod parts arrive. Air filter is as low as the radiator bottom :(

a couple things before I head to work:
go here and check out my updated mcaanda adendum. I have included pics of my custom '3rd' bracket and some brief (more indepth to follow) directions on how to make one. MOST importantly, though, are the pics that show where the bracket goes...how and where it mounts under the heater core inlet. Check it out.
Also, regarding the AC compressor squeel...
I noticed yesterday that my belt was 'just a little bit loose.' I had not tightened it in about 2 months...maybe three. I just got out the C Clamp today and gave it a good old fashioned reafing. I got the belt so tight that I could just barely twist the belt sideways...up and down...about 90 degrees. Test the belt between the Alternator pulley and the Power steering pump. Well...no more AC squeel on my rig. Just like smss and others pointed out...my belt was just a little loose and returning it to 'proper powerdyne standards for tightnes' cured the AC squeeling problem.
Now, I know you have said that 'your belt is as tight as you can get it.' But that does not help us much. Please do the 'twist test' and let us know whats up. As for the 'quick grip' clamp you use...I don't have one in front of me, but with my C clamp i can just keep turning the turning it. If your quick grip clamp uses a ratchet mechanism then it might not be the best tool to use. regardless, here is a technique I would suggest:
Get your quick grip on there. Get it tight...then loosen the tensioner pulley...juat a bit..not all the way. Now, try tightning the clamp...push down on the pulley if need be to 'bust it loose' and see that it has some play. Clamp it as tight as you can and then use abox wrench and tighten down the pulley. Do the twist test on the belt. If it does not pass the test then try again. You might even need two people...one person to tap on the pulley shaft (between the pulley and the tensioner bracket) and one person to use the quick grip clamp.
if doing the above does not yield a belt that is so tight that it 'can barely be turned sideways' then I suggest picking up a large, traditional C clamp.
