haven't gotten an update in a while and since then my last post still has not received an answer. Is it still being worked on? Done anytime soon? Will it even be made? Does our deposit collect interest the longer is sits there?

Well, i definately deserved that. I am reallly sorry guys. I know i haven't been giving you as many updates as i promised.
This is the deal.
The car is in the shop. Everything is being mounted on it. I dropped of the Gauge pod off last week cause Bill said he needed it. I would assume that means the charger is on and he wants to get tuning done and wanted to mount the gauges.
I haven't been bugging him because i basically said that we have all been waiting a long time and my car has to be done by OCT 25th..COMPLETELY DONE... that means all alpha testing and tuning DONE.
OR... I am pulling the project and i will cut my losses and he would have to refund all of you guys and i would get my money back too.
He said to drop of the car... that was two weeks ago.
I dropped off the car two weeks ago and i haven't seen it since. He says he will have the car done in the next two weeks no problem.
IF all goes well. The remainder of the money will be due 90 days from Oct 25th.
Also, i've noticed a lot of the testers posting in the for sale...selling your beta spots.
PLEASE keep me in the loop if you've sold your spot
If you did buy a spot from a beta tester and you have NOT recieved a reciept, i need to know right away. I will need an e-mail from the original beta tester proving that you bought his spot.
I am going to the shop today. I am going to take a look under the hood and let you guys know whats been completed so far. If you haven't got a reciept, E-MAIL me TODAY so i can make sure Bill gets the reciept out to you.
Again i appologize for everything, but when i started this whole thing, i had no idea that i would be going through a divorce. This definately rough times for me, and even though i may not be posting as often or e-mailing, i have not forgotten about you guys and i will pull through for you guys in the end.
You will either have a kit or you will have a refund.
Speaking of interest on your deposits... you only put 300.00 down. I have invested $6000.00 into this project and i have been waiting as long as you have. I am not getting any interest on my deposit. I am working very hard to get this thing done for you guys and ONLY for you guys. The truth is, at this point in my life i could care less if my car had a charger on it or not. THE ONLY reason i am going through with this right now is because i made a promise to the testers and the members of this board to get a kit developed for the 3.8 and i intend to keep it no matter how long or how much it takes.
Just be patient with me. IF you need to call me or talk with me you have my number at work. Call me anytime. IF you've lost the number, e-mail me and i will e-mail you my work number.
ASLO.... i know that its getting close to winter. If the beta kit is released this late, i realize that there is no point in installing it during the winter, cause you won't be able to test it in the snow.
SO... depending on the release date, i may push off the dead line to pay the remainder to MARCH 1st. Yes thats more than 90 days to pay the remainder. However if you do want to install the kit in the winter, then thats fine too. You can pay the remainder when ever you want.
I am just throwing that option out there because I know the kit has taken much longer than what was originally inteded and I know some of you guys may not have the remainder saved up and this should give you plenty of time to save it up.
Having the kit installed in March would be perfect time for testing to start in spring especially for the testers that live in the northern U.S.
I will be watch this thread over the next couple days. Ask me questions and i will try my best to answer them.

Something like this endevor will always take much longer than initially intended.
I have spoken with 2 places who asked me if I wanted to be involved in a turbo project, initial guess was 6 months.
Please, everyone be patient.
Something like this takes lots of research and development!!!
