The stock 3800 fwd manifolds sweep forward already has anyone thought of modifying them to bolt a turbo on, and making a cheap kit that way?

hmm good idea.. if it does work see if you cam pick up a set and try. Its very easy for one little thing to not fitright and ruin the idea but would be a sweet bolt on.-Eric
2000 NBM V6 Camaro 5-speed T-top converted
14.467@95.45mph $0 in mods
The member formerly known as MustangEater8251

They actually sweep backwards as the crossover pipe is over the transmission.
You could just flip them over and they then sweep forward, but they will not clear the pullies. The front one is cast iron the the back one is steel. The back one has the downpipe, so that would need to be blocked. Ive thought about this alot, but dont think it would be any easier than starting from scratch.92 S10 3800 A4(96)
1/4: 14.374 @ 92.25 w/ 1.976 60\'
Turbo and 12\'s Coming Soon!
