Well the bracket is done... and things progress but we've come to a bump in the road again. Looks like the 3 core intercooler is NOT going to fit...well let me refrase that... it can fit but its NOT going to get the airflow that it deserves...infact there is no point in putting one there the way it is. SO.... this is where i told you guys we would have a custom 3 core intercooler and THATS what Bill has decided to do. Thats the latest and greatest. He is faxing the designs to the company that is making the intercooler and it may take a week to 2 weeks for it to be designed and finally come in. SO until then...we wait.

Hmmmm, I've seen many ati set ups on 3rd and 4th gen f body's.
I've seen people take them and mount them pointing towards the ground right in the passage of airfow into the radiator.
I hope you undrstand what I mean.
Why can this not be done?
You might have to remove the black plastic piece used to direct air into the radiator.
I just saw this yesterday on an 89 iroc w/ a 421 in it and a D 1 ati prochargerRace car - gone but not forgotten - 1997 firebird V6

Has this bill guy found out how to program our computers? Has he realized 500.00 is way to ridiculous? Most everyone else that does programming charges 300.00 the first time and at the most 100.00 for when you make changes, im not being rude i just would like to know if he found out how to program and if he will get his price down to what everyone else charges, im sure everyone here will agree 500.00 then 500.00 each time you send it back is so ridiculous, no affense.Longtubes, true duals, ram air, caspers tps tec, ls1 26lb injectors, supersix powerpack, heads milled .020, comp cam .507 220/224 114 ls, forged internals and chromeoly pushrods, bored .030 over, tb spacer, tranny built with stiffer springs and kevlar bands, bigger servo, transgo stage 3 shift kit, edge 3600 stall, 1 pc aluminum ds, 3.73 superior gears, lsd rear ,custom pcm tuning, walbro 255 in tank,

Superchips charges me an initial charge of $350 and if I want upgrades (which I've done once) then it is another $125
The only parameters that could be adjusted were:

Other one was going to be mounted just above the air dam in front of a/c rad parallel to ground.
Not enough airflow, batman's car sits pretty low, and is known to cause overheating.
Bill is custom making one, Batman does not know where it is going right now, but its being made specifically for this application, so it should kick booty.
This kit is going to get done, and its going to rock v8's up & down the strip.
As for programming, I think by the time this kit is availible to the public, Magnus should be pretty far along in his programming. I personally would get him to do it. Not only will he be cheaper, but probably just as good if not better than Bill or anyone else out there.

Yes Bill has figured out the programming... and it wasn't easy for my car. The newer ODBIIs have a lot more hoops to jump that the older ones. YOu have no idea how much the stupid security system plays a role in the programming. It took at least 5 trys before they got the buggs worked out. AND... as soon as the charger is on there... there is going to be more tuning and reprogramming. I know your all in a rush...and so was i...because i wanted to get this kit out to you... but you know what? The truth is...if you want a kit, a good kit, its going to take time. Yeah we could through one together and get it out to you tommorrow, but then you might as well go out and by one of the kits that are out there already. THIS is a custom design made SPECICIFICALLY for 3.8 RWD engines. I for one want this done right...and if it is going to take time, then so be it. I've investeded close to 6000.00 into this project and i want my money's worth. I don't want a hack job because i've rushed things. I can honestly say that its taken this long because of bumps in the road and not because we haven't started driving on it yet. Eventually we will have crossed the bumps and reach the end of the road and you will have your kits. Until then please be patient and know that when this thing finally comes out, it will be worth the wait.

So then is the hard deadline set in this post:
http://www.camarov6.com/cgi-bin/ulti...c&f=4&t=000667
not the deadline anymore? I am just curious because if we are not getting refunds after tomorrow then I am going to be selling my beta spot. My wife and I just bought a house and this kit just isn't in the cards for me anymore.Bruce
2000 Silver 3.8L V6 Camaro M5
183.1 rwhp / 220.5 rwtq

I don't see why we wouldn't get refunds? it is the 25th tomorrow is it not? he said so in the previous post that if not completed by the 25th he would refund us our money. I guess I'll shoot ya an email Ryan and see how to get my money back. Thanks for making more updates though recently - has been interesting.

Back to the $500 charge, for such a custom application as an intercooled blower I think $500 isn't that bad.
I guarentee that Bill will be adjusting more than superchips was ever able to do for me.

That's pretty much what I think too. This post makes no mention of it though and just says to wait.Bruce
2000 Silver 3.8L V6 Camaro M5
183.1 rwhp / 220.5 rwtq
