Don't get too excited, that is NOT an American engine.

That is NOT a L67, it is an Australian Holden V6 - very similar but not the same. Holden is a GM brand.

i just got done talking with a person that work for High Performance Pontiac and he said that he has done a couple of these conversions. they are mostly company owned and as soon as he finds it he as a picture of one in a F-body. he said they did them for SEMA

he said that they started with a L67 and a L36 and swaped the parts from the L36 onto the L67. the blower isn't that much taller than the intake of the L36, it will fit....hehe. TEP just came out with some fuel rails for the L67, i'm not sure if they will fit the L36, but that solves my problem with the fuel rails.

            i'll keep everyone updated.

I always thought the l67 injectors are in the heads not the intakes. How would this convert using our L36 heads?

Also how would you adjust for the extra air flow? This supercharger does not blow through the MAF so wouldnt custom computer tuning be required?

You’re right, the injectors are in the heads, so I believe that you would also need the heads off of a L67, the way it was done was they had both an L67 and L36, and just swapped parts from both and used what they needed.

The part about the MAF, yes the supercharger can blow the air, but it also causes a vacuum in front of it, the air that is being blown into the engine is the same amount of air being sucked in.

yea but I still dont understand how you would get an adequate amount of fuel? How do you tell the injectors to pump more fuel if the air being blown does not pass the MAF?

Did you not read what he said?

"the air that is being blown into the engine is the same amount of air being sucked in."

This means that you have the MAF sensing how much air is going into the supercharger and that will tell the computer how much air's going into the engine. Also you'll need a FMU to adjust for boost as well.
