well, I've finally found a place that'll install my Vortech V1, and they do custom machining.

spoke to the founder (Corky) and he said they could do it.

    *stoked*

by the way, he literally wrote the books on forced induction ("Maximum Boost" and "Supercharged")

      yeah, corky bell.

i spoke to him, and he asked me if I could design the brackets myself (and, I said "umm..yeah..ok.") but he said otherwise I'd have to leave my car over there and they could do it. He seems pretty down to earth for an engineer.

Bell Engineering is in Boerne, about 30 miles north of San antonio, and about 50 from San Marcos, but I'll have to take a trip out there sometime (I don't mind...driving through the Texas 'ill country is awesome)

i still need to buy a few components; all i have is the blower, a hose adapter, and FMU.

nah, this was no joke; I thought it was pretty cool when I called and said had a technical question, and the receptionist transferred me to a guy who answered "This is Corky.."

I don't know how much it's going to be; I'd first have to come up with some designs, and some idea of where the brackets will be placed to mount the blower, as well as get some missing components, like a Crane TR ignition system, ECM programming, and another pulley. I want to run 6psi, just to play it safe.

but perhaps I should read his book first, to know what I'm getting into.
