I'm waiting for my megasquirt system so, I dont want to install my Votech FMU. Will it be safe to drive my car without the FMU for couple of weeks?

what is so hard about disconecting and reconnect two fuel lines?
would it be worth it to have taken 30 minutes or less to install the fmu if it kept your motor from blowing up?

i don't know what your lines on the fmu look liket...but you want 2 female quick disconectends will work. they are about 10 bucks a piece. you want 5/16. (return line) one end attaches to the fuel rail and you can now total bypass the stock rubber return fuel line and mount the other femal end directly to the lower fenderwell (drivers side) where the connection is for the solid metal fuel return line. no cutting. oh, you will need a $3 disconnect tool.
i am not hassling you. but...don't do anything half baked with something like a turbo. this is a big deal and should be taken seriously at all times. 20 bucks for a couple of lines is nothing compared to the price of the entire project. I have part numbrs for the quick disconnects on my web site...look at the FMU guides and the FP Guides.

Yeah, I just looked at your website and it has alot of useful info. Like the Vaccum Check Valve. Looks like its something important to have on the FMU but my kit didnt even come with one of those.1997 Camaro Y87.
