• RK sport supercharger on 3.4?

How hard would it be to modify the RK sport supercharger for the 3.8, to fit on a 3.4?

the onlything usable out of that kit would be the blower, everything else changes.

Adapting a kit designed for a different engine is not very difficult assuming you have someone with you who has experience with supercharging. However, attempting to adapt the Powerdyne 3.8 kit to fit the 3.4 would be a waste. That kit spins the supercharger off the flat side of the serpentine belt--making for a very inefficient design by it's nature. Additionally, Powerdyne superchargers can't handle very much boost, making the design limited for high-power applications.

If you're going to go custom, go custom with a setup that's worthwhile: either a Vortech T-trim or Procharger P600B or P1SC, intercooled... systems that can deliver real performance! Adapting an LT1 kit to fit your 3.4 will be easier than adapting the Powerdyne 3.8 kit to fit and the gains will be much more substantial. Rule number one of supercharging: the power gain is addictive. Don't sell yourself short by selecting a supercharger you can't grow with. Powerdyne is kind of like Fisher Price's "My First Supercharger".

I've said it before and I'll say it again... even though I feel Prochargers are superior, I want to see someone go with a Vortech setup so I have someone to compete against. ;)

           That really hurts my feeling!

How about my alcohol injected Powerdyne vs. air to air ATI

Dude, why don't you just go Turbo? That is way better than any type of superchargers. Besides there are a couple of 3.4 here that has successfully installed one along with intercoolers. You can definately build a foundation on this. WIth SC there is a lost of hp due to the use of crank. ATI and Vortech and XB-1 Powerdyne are gear driven and they need hp at the crank to spin which means a lost of hp (parasitic lost). I've seen all the blowers there is. Just about all of them have problems with belt slipping (because they are using smaller pulleys). I'm heading towards the direction of Turbo but for now I am happy with the PD. I still want a reliable daily driven car.

I don't buy that adapting an LT1 to a 3.4. It doesn't work. I've seen and worked on blown LT1 and LS1 with intercoolers, what Stephan said doesn't make sense at all. It is all about bracketry what it comes down too, to make it adapt to your car. Just look at how Stephan have his blower set up on his car, doesn't that look like a copy of a Fisher toy Set Up.

If all goes good, I'll be looking at getting a charger in about a year. I'm still debating whether to go Procharger or Vortech. But if I go Vortech, I'll be glad to give you some competition

I would consider getting a aftermarket v8 one and modify it, similar changes are going to be needed on either to make it work.
