I agree with USMuscle398 for $3000 he can't cover his costs with stainless pipe and things like that it's very expensive. The pipes alone on my car were $2000 just for pipes. Unless you guys wanna pay $5000 for a turbo kit I say tiago's kit provides a great value for a definately fair price. $ to HP ratio is very good on it. My 2¢

for the money its "ok".. however the way I see it.. at a minimum I would replace some of the pipes..

probably have to reweld alot of it.. and buy new couplers..

that stuff is not cheep.. expecialy in the long run..

thus, its not as great of a deal when you reallly think about it..

tiago is a nice knoladgeable guy however that kit jsut dosent do it for me..

Second tiagos not the only one able to delete things, it seems anything i say is also deleted because perhaps i like to be open minded. anyways you dont have to accuse tiago of deleted threads and put his products down, the post u just made SHOULD be deleted because its is putting down a kit that is not as bad as you guys make it out to be. Teufels is also of quality and im not puttin either down. But there is no reason for you to come in here and b*tch about delted threads and accuse others of what your not even certian

          Have a nice day
there's no reason my post should be deleted... All I did was share my opinions, and I didnt flame anybody, I just pointed out what I didnt like about the FFF kit.. and notice I asked if there were other pictures of the piping.... I am basing my opinions only on what I have seen on the website.... if there are other pics I'd like to see them.

And as far as the posts getting deleted, thats bull****, and shouldnt be tolerated by site admins....... especially under the circumstances... and if you were looking at this situation from the outside, wouldnt you be able to draw seme likely conclusions from what's been seen..... here's a list of facts:

          -posts have been deleted....
-only posts deleted were those that spoke in any way negativly about the FFF kit.......
-the owner of FFF is a moderator in this section, and one of only two people that would likely delete posts in this section (him and the other mod) if this board is run like most other boards where only the mods for that section will take action in that section....
-if it was shirl I'm sure she would say so, she seems to be a standup person from reading her posts

But ur assuming, theres no reason to accuse him no matter wat it looks like. And as far as the pics ive looked at them as well and they arent bad welds look at the kit pics

the one on his car was the prototype i belive

EDIT: let me ask this then, if his kit is so bad....what is better? plz respond without negitivity

              what pipes would I repalce??

atleast the intake pipes.. Not using stainless is stoopid.. those are cheep *** pipes from jegs.. they are aluminized.. but they will rust..

I would also repalce all the exhaust side pipes too if the welds looked like they do on the site..

              but..

see... what i am getting to is..

if i did all of that work..

I would have my own kit at that point..

              see??

i dunno.. I agree.. I really hope that those pictures are of some old prototype..

there are lots of guys out there who use regular mild tubing for turbo kits, in fact many prefer it to stainless! some people have problems with stainless standing up to some aspects of it, whereas mild steel will... I'd say either has it's advantages, but if the mild tubing is coated I dont think there's any dissadvantage to using it over stainless. There are many manufactured turbo kits that utilize regular mild steel tubing.. and this is for many applications... i.e mustangs, f bodies, GNs etc etc. Teufel's kit is mild steel, and seems to be very strong. I think in alot of cases it isnt worth it to go with stainless steel, so I can understand FF going with mild steel... I just have issue with the quality of that steel.... there are varying levels of quality of piping that can be used for a turbo kit, and from the prototype pics that piping (judging by the labels left on the pipes) looks like standard exhaust catback material... which is typically very thin and prone to cracking and fatigue when having to support any kind of load. just my .02$

I guess we'll just have to have tiago respond with his acutallity on the kit

Stainless is stronger in some areas, but IMO it's harder to work with. Stainless pipes would have cost me a total of about $1000.
