Hey guys and gals, I just got my very low miles Powerdyne Kit, for my 2001 Camaro but I have no idea or instruction on how to install the Crane Ignition Control Box. Thanks to Grayman for is website, it has given me all the information I ever needed for the install. Does anyone have the instruction or have their own instruction on what I have to connect the Crane ignition to my car. The Powerdyne kit is the newest one for straight throttle body. Hope someone can help me out.

don't install the ingition control box.
Use premium fuel and the ngk tr6 plugs. those plugs are two heat ranges colder than stock and the small gap setting is to prevent them from being blown out due to compression.
you will be fine without the control box. at least try the system without the box first. that gives one less thing to be goofy.
If you change to a smaller pulley and start running more psi then you will want to retard the timing.
my 2001 6psi rig has run perfect from day one with the fmu but no ingition retard system. you will hear the same from most everybody else who runs 6psi.
I guess i might never say in all my powerdyne guides that you don't need the igition retard at 6psi or less.
really, those boxes can be more trouble than they are worth i hear.
Is the car up and running yet? when do we get a report?

Not up and running yet. Got a shopping list of stuff I got to get. I am using your site step by step, so I am using all the fitting, copper boost lines and all the goodies you recommended. I eventually want to go to a smaller pulley and run 9 psi, will a MSD ignition box work the same? I went to the track to run it stock so I can have an idea of the SC performance, 15.5 was my best time, 60' was 2.1 and reation time was .068 thats also with around 600 lbs of stereo equipment in the back..lol, next time it will be with the SC and minus the stereo. Thank God it all comes out very easy for those track days. Well I will report back soon.
