I think he means what might commonly be known as 71,5xx. And no, definitely not too late. You'd be supercharging about 40,000 miles before I did. And I'm still running strong at 131,000.

Well if the car only has 71,000 miles then that should not be a problem at all to mod the car, even adding a super charger should be ok. as already posted in this thread there are several cars here that got converted to forced induction much latter than 71k miles.

I think the only thing i would enquire is if you currently burn through oil. you shouldn't be at 71,000 miles but just checking. If for some reason you are burning oil then upping the compression with forced induction might not be a good idea. other than that you can easily research how strong the L36 motor is, etc.

If you have taken good care of the car (as the original owner) with oil changes and fluid maintanance (coolant and trans) there shouldn't be a problem with anything. Things should hold up fine. Just start off with 6psi. Looks like you're all set with supporting mods.

I take it you meant this as actual miles? Well back then with mine I actually got the SC before I even did the first oil change.

Yup, I totally voided my warranty.

no its 71500 i replaced 00 with ?? or commonly known as xx. Im either keeping the camaro and supercharging it or selling it. Lately im leaning on keeping the camaro. Thats why i was askin and i appreciate the response because it makes me feel better about keeping my car knowing its not too late for FI.
