No am not going to ask the difference between a s/c and a turbo. It is much more simple than that. I feel like an idiot asking this but I can't figure it out on my own. What is the difference between an intercooler core and core assembly? I only ask is because there is a big price difference. Please help me, enlighten my naive mind.
I think, core assembly has the end tanks on it as well

The endtanks are where the air enters and exits the core of the intercooler.
