  • finaly got the turbo installed....but

i went to tn where my roomates parents live and they have all the stuff i needed to install the fff kit. it took a few days but we got it done and it ran great at 7psi for a few runs. now there is a bad knocking. (i think i threw a rod or something) not to sure what has happened. well it goes to a shop that is owned and run by a co-worker that is going to go through it and see what happened. i have tried but cant find the problem.

i have a lot of pics but cant post them so if you want to see ill email them. and when the motor gets fixed i plan to go to a dyno sometime in march to see what she has.

just wanted to let everyone that another turbo v6 is born and will be fixed.

compared them to the hayes manual and they are normal burn. and if it was the fact that i did not use the inline pump it is a hard lesson learned.

yup..even with the NGK TR6 plugs i used to burn the electrodes off before i had my inline pump..of course i was running a small shot of juice on top of 6 psi..after the pump install that never happened again

well i found out the news. need a whole new motor. all he did was drain the oil and pieces of metal and brass came out. and we discussed that it would be cheaper and benefical to get a new block that is already built.

i found a few already but they were for the gtp. i am not sure if the accessories will bolt right up the same as the motor i got now so i have to call the company to find out.

igora, i am sending the pics of the install to you now.

as far as I know GTP block(L67) has better internals and is basically the same as ours(L36) you just have to swap intake. Injectors there are lager , you can use those with tune instead of FMU.
