I don't get involved in these BS debates. No kit is any better than the other right now.2004 CE Corvette 10.86@132mph

I didn't realize the price went up (about 4-500 bucks) on these blowers... :eek:2004 CE Corvette 10.86@132mph

No. My car is tuned correctly for using both, not one or the other. I'd have to change that (for a "blower only" run) and that would be pointless other than adding to a ridiculous debate for other people to argue about. I'm not running my car anymore. I did what I did with what I have. I'm extremely pleased with 11's. It's all-show now.

im thinkin that the powerdyne is for me... if i can find a used one... ok heres why
1.) its a daily driver, and im not going to be getting forged internals or doing anything that requires the car to be out of commision for more than a day or so.
2.) The powerdyne **install** looks totally easy and after helping my friend for a total of like 30 hours on his turbos, im sure i can handle it.
3.) 10 lb pully i will surely add but i do not want to produce more boost than my stock internals can take.
I also like the simplicity of the charger and it seems as though it would be relatively easy to remove and inspect. The turbos require an exhaust modification and routing many pipes and stuff so 10 lbs of boost (or even 7, whatever i can get) is fine for me.... i dont like the though of nitrous just because i want my car to ALWAYS have power, and not be dependant on the bottle, (not baggin on you shirl or anyone else) but i would rather have the power all the time and beside, my parents think that i will go up in flames if the bottle is nicked. so im thinkin PowerDyne it is, please feel free to persuade me otherwise though, i am not very knowdledgable about these things hahaha... oh and just a really simple question aboutt he turbo/super debate...
if a turbo has lag till like 3grand and a super builds from 1800... then even if the turbo can put out more hp (potentially, the numbers above at 7 psi are realy close to that of the 6psi 250 hp dynos of the PD) then basically that extra HP the turbo gets will only help it to "catch-up" to the supercharger right? so basically that makes either of them acheive BASICALLy the same amount of time gains on the track ans such? oh and on stock engines... i know the turbo has much more potential... anyways as far as stock engines go it seems to me that the turbo and SC are very close.
thanks all-Hawk

===================================
Black 2001 Pontiac Firebird
Automatic Transmission Street Bird

http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/550453

\"Live like you were Dying\"

I'd have to agree with you. Supercharger would seem to meet your downtime needs and still give you decent power. Powerdyne has been fun for me so far. Definately meets your downtime needs, as we installed mine in 2 evenings working at a decent pace. The toughest part was changing the plugs on my car which still has manifolds. I'm hoping to head to the track in a few weeks so I can help add to this debate. :cool:\'98 Camaro V6
Appearance... pleasing
Performance... just a little extra air.

Changing plugs? Don't even talk to me about that... I have headers and it still took me almost 3 hours!! What a PIA! You need to have a variety of tools and skinny arms!!! I think you'll be happy with the Powerdyne. I've seen cars and heard of cars running in the 13's with the kit (mine included) non-intercooled. You mentioned adding an intercooler. That will definately help cool the charge and add to the longevity of the motor. I've been contemplating that also at this point because I want my motor to stay cooler and run more efficiently.2004 CE Corvette 10.86@132mph
