Is anyone running one yet? I talked to Paragon Tuning in Denver and they said they are an excellent addition to forced inuction cars. They are designed to fit universally. They recently put on a turbo charged BMW and got an extra 50hp on the chassis dyno. If i ever go forced i will get one.
The second-generation S-AFC is a fuel computer that adjusts fuel/air ratio by modifying the air-flow meter/MAP sensor signal. The S-AFC features a user-definable, eight-point, adjustable fuel curve that can be set in 500 RPM increments. The range of fuel adjustment is +/- 50% at each of the user-defined setting points. On hot-wire vehicles, the Deceleration Air Flow Correction function is capable of curing the erratic idle and stall problems associated with open-atmosphere blow-off valves on hot-wire air-flow meter systems. The S-AFC is capable of monitoring and replaying the following data channels in Numerical, Analog Meter and Graph displays: Intake Manifold Vacuum/Boost Pressure, Air Flow Capacity, Intake Manifold Pressure, Karmann Frequency, Engine RPM, THrottle position, correction %

I will be aquiring one of these very soon. It seems to work with 3.8s, and 3.4s, and can work on any car, forced induction, na or whatever :D
I am glad i brought this up. I have wanted one for the longest time after i fooled around with my buddies on his dsm. Paragon said that you would need a good shop manual to tap into the right wires coming off the computer. The wiring would most likely be fairly complicated. My dsm buddies also said to get the best take it to a place like Paragons and have them tune it on the dyno. Also, shop around because prices vary quite a bit. I am going to install an Apexi turbo timer first and see how that works out.
I am installing the turbo timer for it's A/F and o2 sensor readouts. They look really cool and i couldn't find a gauge that i liked. Also, my oil will cool down a little after driving :D
CHeck out www.mvpmotorsports.com and click on 300zx. There are some other really neat fuel contrlers and injector controlers. Thats right, injector pulse width controller. Sweet.
ok so problem i noticed with the apexi. i was looking at the one that just does fuel control (like for N/A cars) and they DO NOT have a setting in the manual (online) for any domestic cars!!!
this is a problem if you plan on using it with a computer controlled system..it wont know what to look for!
so im currently checking for some systems that work w/domestics, found one that works with the C5 from 1997 - on and the camaro/firebird as well
