Well, I got tired of reading all of the speculative posts and called turbodyne. Asked for customer service, and she said that there was no customer service yet, only designers and engineers. She said that they have no product on the market, but there was quite a bit of interest. When I asked if she thought that there may be something in the market in about a year, she said, "Well, I should hope so." I don't think she really knows. She did take my name and number for a list when the product hits the market. She could not tell me what kind of prices their looking at.

Should be done with all of my mods in a year's time. One of the last mods that I will do will be the Turbodyne, or the e-ram along with 1.8 or ZZP rockers, PP heads and intake and tubular manifolds from 2000+ firebirds. More air is more air.

It will be about a year before I'm ready for it anyway. I still have to save up for headers, cat, HPP3, and all those other great mods. Hey, AMinor65, you want my tubular manifolds once I get headers? :D It would be around August or September though...

I could really see a use for a Turbodyne! Imagine having a few 12V gel cell batteries in your trunk, and the control/activation module connected to a switch so you can enable it when you want. And when not in service, the batteries are charged. That way you have no parasitic drain on your engine under boost!

I am so going to do that!

RedbirdV6, with all these debate you'll only get a headache.

I say go for it! It is worth the investment and try. The distribution place is located here in S. Cali 15 miles from me. My wife and I personally visited it. I got a chance to see it and I can honestly tell you that it works. The guy personally has it on his Sierra.

Depending on what type of car and the HP it has gains will vary. It's looks really cool and it doesn't take that much room either. It is also cool to hear that whine. www.electricsupercharger.com

but wouldnt we need an S-AFC or any kind of air fuel controller to deal with the boost? or is the boost roots style, all there all the time?
                50 horse would be sweeet

I'll start saving now if it is what is says it is. More power for the 3.4 is always welcome! I'm too impatient though, 1 year?!?!? Maybe if we bug em enough they'll get moving!

wouldn't it be better thatn just purchasing a regular kn air filter. if i pull out the stock intake and replaced it with this unit how much hp should i expect, they say 10 hp but does that include intake advancements also? thanx

There's only one member who's actually had it on their car, Modd. You're just gonna have to try it, if you're interested. No one here can give you an opinion from actual experience. I'm gonna try it if turbodyne doesn't come out with something. Screw it.

i'd be in for something like that... easy to undo, simple to install... reversible and nothing dramatic... group purchase? give me an IM or email... when you get a price...
