Its simple our biggest probelm in doing a single turbo setup is exhaust routing. A 3.8's engine bay isnt too jammed up some areas of space. So how come we (myself included) cant get one turbo to work. When an LS1 guy (packed engine bay) can get Twin Turbo's. I dont get it. Ok rant over Im too tired I guess. It just looks so simple when the Ls1 guys do it. And no I will not just buy a V8.

I was on my way to post this topic when i saw it already posted. mike, did you see the camaro ss on ebay with twin turbos? It ended yesterday, was wonering if that is what you were refering to. Now, i dont like turbos, i like the whine of the blower, however, id like some kind of good forced induction for my 2000 v6. The powerdyn doesnt cut it when you cant even run 9 psi of boost cause its on backwards and runs on the smooth part of the belt, that pissed me off when i read it. So ya, if this is possible, to get like 9psi out of a turbo, id do it. i have 4g burning a hole in my pocket, and a v6 with everything minus cam heads and forced induction, lol. Thanks in advance. The INCON TT system is awesome, the turbos are right off the manifolds
as for you, have the pipes, or pipe, however youa re going to do it, run up to the front of the engine, to the top of the turbo, then go from there, i have looked at the 3.8l bay and it IS possible to do it the same way.

First time posting here and finally happy to find a v6 performance place. This summer ill be starting a project on my black 2000 Firebird and Im looking for horsepower gains especially. Either Supercharge or turbo and im definitely interested in the twin turbo. Can anyone help me with finding these parts and how possible they are to do? Any help will be appreciated and Ill be posting some pics soon
This probably doesn't help you 3.8 guys any so I guess I'm just boasting. I spent nearly all of my christmas break from school working on getting my long planned turbo-project installed. But I was only able to get the engine to turbo pipes figured out and welded together. It took forever and I went through several variations. But I was able to get the turbo fed by the exhaust and the oil supply line hooked up. I started it in my garage where I had been working on it and reved the engine just enough to be able to put my hand over the turbo inlets and outlets to feel it suck and blow, I wasn't reving too much cuz I was getting pretty fumigated at the same time cuz I just had the exhaust dumping straight out of the turbo. I took it all off and put my car back to normal so I could drive it back to school. But this weekend I'm going home to get the parts I had so far and finishing up w/ the oil drain line, the intake piping and some brackets to hold the turbo in place(wouldn't want to drive over it...) So I'll keep you guys updated on this totally do it yourself turbo setup.
I wish ya'll luck. I'm sure it can be done on the 3.8 as well. If I can do it, anyone should be able to. It just takes patience and a lot of head scratching/cussing ;)
