needing larger y-pipe from manifolds

I am having some problems with shops fabricating a larger y-pipe. If you had one made did you replace all of the pipe from the manifolds down to the 3" section on the cat or what did you do?

may I ask why? The stock size should be fine for any turbo application you have.

If you want, take the y off, then run the turbos off of the sides.

Other than that, a new larger y probably will not yeild much, if any gains for n/a applications

it was for a supercharger and avoiding headers.

Those will work a hell of a lot better for you with a SC, more flow.

yeah if i wanted to pay over 500 dollars for them and another 300 to have them installed.

I believe the manifolds flow good enough compared to dyno numbers and i can open up the exhaust more after the manifolds.
