Okay,
As all of you know, or atleast most of you know. I'm running a custom setup on my 3.4. We'll i'm trying to work my way around two problems, rather three i guess.
One is the EGR valve? my car is equiped with the digital unit, which i see no need for. The way it sets in relation to the engine is kinda a problem due to the headers. Rksport "designed" a major flaw(s) in their units. first off those of you with the 3.4 setup will notice how the weight of the EGR is distributed off to the side of the header creating alot of undue stress. I had to replace the pass side unit do to the flang breaking at the weld form the weight. Also, it may be me, but i have problems with the EGR. this is the 2nd one i've added to my car. They seem to melt down? and leak. I had problems with mine last week so i removed it, blocked off the opening on the header, and moved the EGR over by the computer....just to hang loose so i didn't throw trouble codes. I was just wondering if i could get rid of it? or if i could literally bypass it or something.
Second thing. I bought the Holley adjustable fuel pressure regulator designed for the 305 and 350 TPI fbody. i stuck it on the car....and now have no real idea on where to set it at pressure wise. i have a paxton fuel pressure guage under the hood running off the shrader valve(stem removed) I'm not sure where to set it.....so i tried to tune it in with my autometer A/F guage. So far thats just been a hit and miss operation. I need more info on fuel systems? I'm running stock injectors...but plan on upgrading before the april event. Also, i read in my haynes manual(the most generic car book known to the camaro enthusiast) that the PSI on the fuel rail should be set at 41-47 PSI? well, how does that relate to LBS ? as in injector size? ect.
And last but least? Bypass valve? how are you guys running yours? i've looped mine back into the system before, but after i added the new intake piping to the SC, i decided to just add a K&N filter breather(big one) to it. Its alot louder, but i wonder which is more effective?
Once again any help is appreciated. I love helping others on this site, and try not to ask questions unless in dire need of the answer.....and the truth is i'm depending on you guys to help. Thanks again. Hopefully i'll get this all straightened out and be ready for the april event.....so i can race you guys . Cause ya know, i'm all about trying to be the fastest supercharged "3.4" on the site.....wait i see and advantage to that..cause so far i'm the only one  .
