I thought it's really cool how this guy swapped his 2.8 S10 for a 3.4 and on top of that he put an 11lbs Powerdyne and then chilled it with an air to air intercooler.
No, you should use both, your not going to get much more out of just water injectors compared to an intercooler.
The real gains happen when you use them together.
In my research I have yet to see a GN guy running just alky injection, just an intercooler, yes, but not just alky.
You might get up to 12, 13 lbs w/ alky injection (read: not just water), heck, you might even be stuck at 11, who knows.
If I were going to recommend either an intercooler or water injection, but not both, I would definitely say intercooler. Why? It is tried and true, doesn't require maintenance, and works all the time. Alky injection on the other hand is usually on only after a certain amount of boost, or WOT.

It's true two is better than one. But if I go with an air to air I would lose boost especially how the plumming goes. A water to air has a shorter plumming but maybe but then again not.
Water injectors are a better choice for my set up. Especially since I can use alcohol. I am also considering a 35 shot of N2O. Still thinking and searching.
