I have talked to Eaton on a few occasions and they said it can be made to work, however they do not supply everything you need to make it work, only the Charger :( They told me it would take at least a minimum of $5000 to get it right and would not give a list of what you would have to do to make it work, however if you buy a used a charger, say off of Ebay you could do the project for a little over $2000 by my calculations......

If you are serious about this project, get a set of L67 heads and intake manifold. They SHOULD bolt right on. They are indentical except the injector bosses are drill for the L67. I know in 99 they went to seperate castings. But I would research it. The Eaton with bolt right up to them. And you won't have to worry about relocating the fuel injectors. Although, you could drill out the injector bosses on your heads. But that would be some serious downtime. I have the heads and intake manifold from my car that I changed out when I put the ported ones on. I would like to keep them around for spares, but I might let them go if the price is right.
The big issue would be the fuel rail, you could try a GTP one, but you may not have enough clearance. You may have to go custom(not a showstopper, just more $ and work).
Might consider a GTP Throttle body as well. Get a higher flowing fuel pump, the L67 has a higher capacity one.
Just some ideas.....

Thanks for the suggestions. Im going to run the supercharger at around 8 lbs right when i get it to get my motor used to the new power. Then when i get my forged pistons and connecting rods with a SSM head and cam package im going to run around 13 to 16 lbs of boost. Im getting my engine bored but im going to double sleeve it back to 3.8 liters so my engine is alot stronger to hold up to the charger. I have done measurements and i think the charger will fit under the hood. I might have to cut out a little part of the cowl but what the hell its for good right. If all else fail im going to put a cowl induction hood that isn't huge just barely enough to fit. I saw another way to do it online from the way im planning so im going to see which one is better. Well guys keep this discussion open cause i like hearing ya'lls advise. :D2001 Sunset Orange Camaro A4
Best times:
N/A--14.3
60\'--1.98
NOS 125--????

You do realize that with the heads an cam package you will likely lose 2-4lbs of boost with the same pulley. Which is good. Thrasher tested a 3.8L running and intercooler, heads, cam, PCM. They were only able to push 8psi with a really small pulley. Oh, and it was making 430HP at the crank.
The block should hold to 500HP or so. I have never heard of anyone damaging one. So I think the sleeving is a waste. It is a very strong block. Your bottom end(crank, etc) will go before the block does.
I have heard through the grapevine that thrasher will be offering forged pistons soon.

The reason im going to get it resleeved is not only for added protection, but also for the dual stage 150 hp shots of nitrous ill be running. On that M90 running about 15 lbs of boost when I get my forged pistons and con rods ill be putting out near 450 to 500 or more hp. With the nitrous that will be to much for the engine to handle without resleeving it. By the way does anyone know where i can get a forged crankshaft? I havent ever found one exept for one i can get custom ordered by scat for 3000 bucks. Well everyone keep sending me info. can i just get this in before anyone else does, so that i can say i told ya so?

Ok, done. Bud, if you were gonna spend that kind of money, i think you would of went the procharger way, not the $400 way. And, well ya, the dual nos bs was the icing on the cake. But hell, prove me wrong, and i'll be jealous. aka, im not gonna be jealous.

Hey Zack! Dude if you knew anything about cars, engines, racing, or anything of the sort you would know that everything i said i was going to do excluding the nitrous im talking about the charger and everything to go with it, will cost me around 1500 to 2000 dollars. Thats not including the cost to put everything on so say around 2 to 2500. How much does a procharger cost? More than i already said and thats just the charger. Well i know this is gonna work cause i have about 3 different ways to do it. One of them is my way wich is pretty dang good if you know anything about anything, the second is a way my friend suggested which is a good idea cause he is real good with our cars, and another one i saw online somewhere which is totally different than what me or my friends ideas but is still a good idea. So anyways one thing you need to learn about me since im a "rookie" is that when i say im going to do something ill do it and that if someone tells me it can't be done that is just more motivation for me to show them it can be done and then tell them to take it and shove it. Thanks for your time.2001 Sunset Orange Camaro A4
Best times:
N/A--14.3
60\'--1.98
NOS 125--????

Ok frist off I want to say good luck with what you want to do.
Now on to Mister (highschool kid)Camaro_zack you sit here and bash the guy for wanting to try something different. But what person in there right mind would go out and spend 13000 or more on a car with an auto just to cut a big hole in the floor so they can change it to a 5 sp. From the fast look at kelly blue book I just did you could have saved yourself about a grand if you had bought a 5 sp to begin with. I did not say anything in your post because I feel to each his own but donot come to someone else post and bash them for wanting to do something different.

I second that thought. Bradley...good luck. If I was gonna be in Texas a little while longer I would offer to come turn a wrench and help you. I think you will be successful, you are determined and that is the key. Don't pay attention to anyone bashing you. My daddy had a saying I like to remember..."If your step in dog$hit, wipe it off and keep walking." I think you will make it if you keep after it. :)97 Silver Bird
3.8 M5 Bone Stock Engine
15.528 @ 88.96 bone stock
www.fbodyenhancements.com/

Thanks Jack. Hey ok guys when i get the charger and everything is working on 8 lbs of boost what do you think my 1/4 time will be? I am running well prolly in the high 14's with my current mods but my best is a 15.2. I think around a 13.5 or somewhere in there. O and one more thing. I have an automatic, and i was wandering whats up with third gear in these cars. It sucks. Well like always any input is appreciated. Thanks
