I dont think it CANT be done...I just wanna know where you're gonna find the computer tuning its gonna need to run that thing. From what i read the L67 they dropped in the SEMA bird needed HEAVY HEAVY computer tweaking. Hell if you made this work even ID do it...im sure alot of us would...just the throttle body position and computer stuff got me into pessimistic mode.

cough
and 97firebird, two things, i bought this car 2 years ago, i want a manual now, cant go back in time, and it cost me 450 to do the conversion, when are you gonna get it through your head? And also, i think the blower CAN be put on, i raised the bs flag when he started talkin about the dual nos and what not. If he were serious about it, id think he would do the procharger. oh, and 97firebird, as you put it "to waste money is for kids to do" and i think that applies to this thread.

FYI, they have fitted a Centrifugal to grand prix GT, it is running awesome with no computer changes. It adapts very well. We are coming to find out the L67 PCM has alot more safegaurds/barriers than the L36 one.
IF you had the money, the ultimate would be to go with a whipple charger. It is a positive displacement SC so you get the low end torque, and it is VERY efficient, so it doesn't loose power at high boost levels.

One thing needs to be straightened out - a L67 WILL fit in a Firebird, at least a 97, since that's what GM used. It even had a 6-speed mated to it. You can see the car in High Performance Pontiac April 1997 issue. And as for the TB facing backward, it does on all the Holden cars with RWD L67 engines. Check their site for ideas. The main problem is the PCM.
Good luck.Robert - owner www.FirebirdV6.com/CamaroV6.com

Im going to mount the intercooler in that little place between the grill ( on the back side of coarse ). Im going to figure out a way to inject my nitrous when i get it which i dont think it will be too hard but still im gonna try to figure it out. And the dang pistons are going to cost me 650 for 6. Dang but they go to a GN and there made for nos and supercharging. The rods are gonna run me about 500 or maybe alittle less. O well it is stuff i was planning on doing anyway so might as well.

Correct me if im wrong but didnt STEFAN try the GN pistons when he was first testing ideas for his PROCHARGER? If i remember correctly and i COULD check his site but im too lazy they wouldnt work at all...i cant remember why you might wanna check out his site or ask him directly why they WOULDNT work...assuming your even talking about the Grand National pistons.Just trying to save you some time and money...thats all.2001 Black S10 Xtreme 4.3L A4
*RedLineVSix*
\"Throwin sparks, draggin frame\"
