any ideas on price...i'm just looking for a cheaper alternative to supercharging. what are the advantages and disadvantages of both?

from what ive seen custom turbo is more expensive than sc

only advantage to turbo over sc is turbo doesnt rely on a belt to spin up so its closer to "free" power....you will end up getting turbo lag though which superchargers usually dont have

If you are thinking of a twin-turbo setup, go with matching one to each bank of your engine. It's easier to think of your engine as 2-1.9 liter engines since most turbo manufacturers make turbos for import I-4's.
