I know there's a ton of people planning on buying the kit. And i'm sure there's a few that have all ready sent money (including myself). The question is for those that are getting it installed, not doing it themselves. As anyone gotten any estimates? Mine was $1100. It's from a place that everone seems to trust.

I'm pretty good with my hands. Like I said in the above post, "I don't have any tooks" I'll prob pay over $300 just in tools. It means a lot to me to have this turbo kit. And my cars my life. If anyone could ask my friends, I treat it like it's my child. I'd hang myself if I screwed something up, or hurt the car.

about $500 would be more fair, but most people Ive talked to said they were quoted inthe $1000s
Shane, It maybe "bolt on" like other fbody kits are also "bolt on" but there is alwyas things here and there that need adjustment. PLus most shops charge $50 an hr and the first time someone isntall this it may take them 8 hrs. Thats $400 already....

how about you pay someone from the board that has already installed it before to do it for you. Make sure they have done a good job and you trust them. Like for instance if I lived in Texas I would pay Tiago to do it, I am sure he would hook you up cheap.

If she's sick, I take her to a place to get better. I was thinking about having someone on the board to do it, but i'm all the way in chicago. I don't think there's anyone close to my are to do it.

Wish I could help you since I'm in Rockford. I am getting the kit and installing it myself. Only problem is between the wife, kids, job and car, I don't have the time.
So my truck is finally getting some work done, after 17 years, Oil pressure sensor went out and it’s located under the lower intake manifold. Have to...
