Go to "Expand Your Search" browser and type in "PWR air to water intercooler."

I could see this PWR air to water intercooler being connected to our outlet tube.

I think it can work. At 8-10 psi of boost, we could probably add 40 or more hp from cold air.

I don't see any reason it wouldn't work, but it doesn't seem like it would work well. The air is only exposed to the intercooler for 6", which isn't a very long time.

There really isnt any reason not to use a real water-air intercooler, especially for this kind of money. Air-water intercoolers sell for 300-400 on ebay all the time, and they are full sized. All it would take are a couple of pre bent stainless (or regular steel if you want to have it coated or dont mind rust) pipes, and you can fabricate your own pipe to go from the charger to the intercooler, or the intercooler to the engine (or both).

I just think if you have 400 bucks to spend, you can spend it on a MUCH more effective water-air intercooler.

But, then again, I would definitely choose the PWR intercooler over no intercooler at all, and I don't argue that it would be WAY easier than creating a custom setup with bending pipes.

    Just my thoughts

That alone would be OK for our low boost 6-10 psi applications????? I dont know???? But Im sure that plus the SMC would be a GREAT EASY and AFFORDABLE combo.Im guessing you could buy this plus the SMC and have them both hooked up for under 1200 $. Then youd have the best of both worlds without allthe crazy piping.

That is something to consider. I was looking for that air to air intercooled Powerdyne S10. But instead, I found a DSM intercooled Powerdyne Saturn.

The interesting thing is that he is running his belt on the flat side.

This intercooler thing has really spark my interest.

Look for a Starion or Conquest intercooler, if you are under a budget.

Yea but the piping is whats killing me.......I looked under the car and have no idea how they got piping done......IF only I could see an ATI kit up close. If there piping is 3 inch just like ours then we could just use the ati piping. Both blowers sit in basicly the same place. You might have to cut and reweld a pipe or two......But I had to do that with the pipe that came with the powerdyne so no biggy............ The only problem is that knowing ATI they'll probally charge like 2000$ just for the intercooler and piping!!!!!!!

Every one knows that janas car is already intercooled right?????? You know Jana and her boyfriend who have the powerdyne with the 2.8 pully???? Theve got some pics of it on there site. Intercooler dosent look real pretty but Im sure it will do the job.

Well the ATI's intercooler is located at the air deflector. I think this method is adaptable to PD. But I sort of don't like the idea of blocking the radiator and my ram air kit.

Since a couple of you PD owners are now running 10psi. You have to keep in mind that is a lot of hot compressed air being blown to the engine. There's danger to that, detonation.

To gain meaningful HP we have to find a way to cool off the air. Water injection is a great idea, but perhaps a combo of air to air and WI would give us much higher HP and get awesome track times.

Since an S10 and Saturn has customize it. I think we can do it.
