i know this is just a myth, but in the A4's, some people experience, "mystery knock", you should hook your car up to autotap and see what it says in 3rd...

dude at you shouldn't pull out of 2nd until you are at 80-85 at WOT.. I know I don't. Do like Merlin suggested and run Auto Tap2000 Firebird. Whisper Lid, True duals, TSP mail order tune, Built Tranny , TCI 2800 stall verter, B&M tranny cooler, Eaton LSD, 3.42 gears. Been 10 days since I tightened the belt. I am sad to say that boost has dropped to 9 pounds in first gear and 7-8 pounds in second gear. 3rd gear is still 5 pounds.
Is it the belt stretching????? There is a little more play in the belt than 10 days ago when I tightened it.
Im currently still happy with the boost levels Im getting and will not thighten it down from where it stretched for now... After I put on my intercooler I will thighten it back down to the half inch of play and get her on a dyno with 10 pounds of intercooled boost.

Been three days of constant driving since my last post. The car is holding 9 pounds in first gear and 8 pounds in second gear with 3rd gear giving off 5 pounds.
I THANK ITS SAFE TO SAY THAT THE ASP GROOVED PULLY+ THE JOHNDPOWERRAP WAS A HUGE SUCCESS. IT HAS BEEN EXACTLY ONE WEEK SINCE I THIGHTENED THE BELT AND BOOST IS STILL VERY GOOD AT 8-9 POUNDS(EVEN PULLIES THAT RUN ON THE GROOVED SIDE OF THE BELT WILL SLIP DOWN A POUND OR TWO).
