Immediate full boost is what you want, though, right? If your BOV wasn't working right, the plate would shut, the boost would stall the compressure / turbine, and you'd have to build up boost again.

But hey, I don't need the limiter eliminate right now ...

the whole thing is tha tyou dont want compressor surge. tha tis bad stuff and will ruin wheels fast and possibly the bearing too. it is not good. ill build boost fast enough without surge.lol
boost, you got it???

I don't know if this matters, but in my 95 a4 3.4L, I hit about 113mph (didn't hit governor, just the car started to handle a little funny..too much play in the steering at those speeds for me)with only intake and exhaust...not that they made a difference cause the theoretical top speed is 121mph anyway.

My point is, why do you guys say the top speed limit on a 3.4L is 108mph and are you totally sure this elimated the limiter? If so I wan't to do this. I'm selling(if someone buys it) my 3.8L I have sitting here and rebuilding my 3.4L then adding a turbo. I will need the limiter to disappear.

well, the limiter on most of these cars is the same but some cars speedo's are off for one reason or another. the faster the car goes the further off the speedo is.

and so far i have seen there too be no more limiter on my car. the only thing i didnt like is that the speedo stops workin at 110 because it isnt getting a signal anymore. i hit 110 and kept pulling 4th gear, then shifted into fifth. car kept pulling. i think it worked well

I hope it works out well!!! My limiter is pretty much the only thing keeping me taking my car to the dyno.

Hey Matt, would your set up be less expensive than fastchips. They want like $300 plus shipping. I'm willing to pay that cause topping out at 105mph sucks, but if your way is cheaper, more money for other mods!

these are about 250 or so i think. so it is cheaper. i jsut want too have it on the dyno and make sure that there are no other affects of it.
