What contacts a rubber belt the best. Yep you guessed it rubber so how hard would it be to get the pully rubber coated.

Belt dressing seems to help me. I just use the stuff from napa. It makes the belt sticky and seems to build up boost faster. I have seen 9lbs many times using belt dressing. It does wear off pretty quick but would be enough to get a few track runs in and then squirt some more on.1997 Supercharged Firebird<br />14.01@99.7mph 2.1 60ft.

A double sided ribed belt alone wont solve the problem. You are going to have a ribed belt running on a smooth pulley, you are going to have to change the supercharger pulley to a groved pulley. Also i think the water pump pully is smooth and i thought one more pulley is run off the smooth side, this means those would have to be switched to groved pulleys as well. You can get a groved supercharger pulley from powerdyne but i guess you would have to take the other pulleys into a machine shop and have them make you a custom groved pulley.1997 Supercharged Firebird<br />14.01@99.7mph 2.1 60ft.
