I had a spare 3.4 engine that came with a wiring harness so I just used all the connectors from that harness and plugged them into all my exsisting sensors/injectors, etc and unplugged the stock PCM connectors from them. Then ran all those wires from the new harness to the megasquirt. When running fuel only I built the megasquirt itself over a couple of evenings then wired it all up one saturday. I setup the software and it fired up on the 1st try.
Now that I'm also using the megasquirt to control ignition I'm still using the stock PCM to control the AC clutch and the speedometer. But I have plans to run those off something else as well...
The intake w/ a LT1 throttle body was modified for me by a machinist at my work. I got the throttlebody off ebay and then had him put it on. He charged me $100 but I paid him $125 cuz he did such a good job
