I am interested in doing a forced induction setup. I've been considering the RK sport supercharger because of the ease of which the install would be. I also really like Tiago's kit because the idea of a turbo is technically better. My father and I would like something that is easy to install: if anyone knows is Tiago's kit any harder to install than the RK Sport kit and would my father and I really be able to install it at home over a weekend?

Does your kit require swapping the entire exhaust manifolds or does it come with piping that bolts up to the stock manifolds on the 3.8 soyou don't have to remove and swap them out with something else? also reliability and driveablity are big concerns of my father and I: we don't want to make our "new" firebird driveable only under certain conditions or wear out the engine & drivetrain prematurely. What is the record for running the kit on a 3.8 w/o any problems? My rear end is 3.08, is this a decent dearing for the turbo, it should be becuase i don't think turboes like steep gearing, but what do you think? does the kit come with a bigger fuel pump and if it does is it an inline style or in tank so the gas tank has to be dropped to install? does all of this hardware fit under the hood w/o cutting up the front end of the car or moving & remounting major components [ie alternator, oil pump, powersteering module, etc.]? I know this is a lot but my father and i want only the very best for our new prize possession. Forced induction rules!PhiDeltaTheta: VA Gamma Chapter@RMC Rocks!
