Hey guys, I have a buick 3.8 in a Toyota truck I bought yesterday.
It has block casting number 25506818.
Any info on what motor this is/was.

its a cast from the 1982 3.8's, prolly from a riviera or monte carlo. I was doing some looking for that block number, it kept popping up on turbo buick sites... Dunno why, its not turbo right now (that will change).
Its a pretty badass truck. I got it cheap because it had a "bad transmission".
Turns out, the flexplate bolts that bolt to the torque converter broke, I am replacing the converter and flexplate, then its good to go.1997 Chevrolet Camaro v6 - 13.8@104MPH
