  • Trying to get the bottom line...

Okay, I've been away for six months and now that I'm back I'm looking into forced induction for my 98 Camaro.

I look around the vendor sites and see powerdyne is the most common supercharger on the market (and the only one readily available in a kit form). I've been reading through the encyclopedia and through the posts and see that several people are supposedly making kits with superchargers and/or turbo chargers.

When it comes to forced induction kits, just what is available (powerdyne the only thing I see) and what is going to be realistically available in the next 6 months or so (such as BATMANs project that I've read ambitious but limited reference too, and 4CEDEF's possibly forgotten turbo project kit?)

I've read the posts and the reviews, went to the vendors sites, and everything else, but whats a reality and whats a hoax?

Thanks for setting me straight!

Not a problem, just a challenge...

Powerdyne is only kit currently avalible for our cars.

Batmans kit should probly be on his car by the New year so maybe around march the beta's will get theres then a year after theres it will be released as a kit. (the beta's will get their kits for sure batman has given his word on it)

A turbo kit is gonna be custom. No one is currently making a kit. people want to but its not gonna happen for more then a year i garente and that would be at the soonest.

if you want a supercharger now, talk to some of the beta testers about selling their spot.

I know a few would be willing to sell out (because they don't want to wait, or bought a v8 or a house or they didn't save or some other reason, going to be one badass kit).

Hey strobhen, did you notice that your sig says that you have a 2001 75th anniversary...? Shouldn't it be 35th?
