You go and jump on everyone's back for taking initiative to FIND OUT about the ATI project. Some people are losing patience. I think when it comes out it will be GREAT, but they're 9 months overdue. The trick is to NOT give a release date when you think it willbe done...give it three months from when you think it will be done...to work out the problems.

Nonetheless, I have talked to batman a little myself on aim(few and far between)..and he IS a good guy. He doesn't want to come on and get flamed every time he updates. Personally I thought it was nice of silverbird to come to him...inquire...at least someone cares about how the project is coming, not when it is coming out.

As far as the status on the intercooler it will be there by thursday Dec 12,2002. The first custom intercooler that arrived needed some modifaction and was sent out again. The new one is scheduled to arrive Thursday. That is the latest. If its taking to long.. it isn't my fault. All i am doing is giving my car to be the guinea pig and constantly calling and bugging Bill to have this finished ASAP. IF you don't like how long its taking call Bill and take it up with him he holds your deposits...i am doing the best i can.

If it can be done better in Texas...Then do it! nothing is stoping any of you guys. If it can be done better in Texas why didn't one anyone from Texas take on this project instead of complaining about Bill and mine efforts.

The truth is its a lot easier to talk about taking on a project like this and complaining than to actually carry it out. I wish i had never made any promises on date or delivery but as naive as i am, i thought it would be done quick. Even V6maro told me it would take a long time, but i didn't believe him...and here he is still defending me. If you do take on a project like this, You'll see just as i did, that it takes more time to develop a kit that has to be duplicated and released to the public than a kit that is just made one time only for your car.

I will get pictures as soon as Bill mounts everything with the intercooler. [img]smile.gif[/img]

I know, I was just saying, I wasn't knocking it, I just said looks are important to some and that can take time. Yours does what YOU want it to do, so it's all good. I'm interested to see what you end up doing about your front clip.

I have faith that this kit will be done, and give props to the people putting the time into it. Im sure they'll be duly compensated. What I just can not understand is how it has taken this long. Everybody says things take time, good things take more time, fine. But seriously, you have to at some point admit its taken way longer that it should. I dont know why im saying this cause it has been said before.

no problem Ken. I admit I was once one of the pissy people on here and that's prolly why people are assuming that I'm gonna start **** talking but I havent. Granted I am upset that my 300 deposit has been held now for a good 9 months or so and as of this weekend I will no longer have use for the kit anyways. Instead I'll be replacing the 3.8 L with an LS1 that will be one badass beast. Talking from 15s to 11s. And I won't hate the 8 - I'll just watch ya in my rearview - haha.....
