If there is a kit to be made, it will be safe until a certain PSI of boost pressure, so not to push the envelope, it will be a few PSI below the line of detonation so that there are no mishaps. Once the owner of the kit decides to up the boost pressure, then that is their problem plain and simple. If a kit comes out then it will have a warranty that the parts included with the kit will fit, and function properly. This is why I am throwing this idea up to people that might be interested.
This kit of mine is an idea right now. I am going to be working with professionals who know the ropes when it comes to forced induction.
I do not have to take time out of my day to make a turbo kit. I have mine I can just let everyone else make their own. I have the opportunity to offer people something that no one else produces for our cars. If I am just wasting my time let me know, because Ill just let my guys know that no one is interested and Ill stop now.

you tell me this, what's going to happen if i crack a head with YOUR turbo kit on MY car?
damn you all, that is the best question by far. having a turbo kit come out is not only unlikely, but also very risky for all who are involved.
you don't have to listen to me, but i guarantee when your first buyer calls you and said "ya bud, i hooked it up and blew a gasket today, what are you going to do about it?" your going to wish you had listened to me.
some of you guys need to grow up. maturity/reality reigns over discovery. if you don't know what i mean, then: someone who brings forth issues that should be considered, such as this, are usually the ones that are right in the end. you should be considering every negative aspect of your setup before you say "hey everyone, want a kit"...that's among other things.
personally, i don't care, i've tried to help out too many people in the past, and they never listen to me, and when the **** hits the fan all i can say is "i told you so." so now i've just become bitter to all the people who put up statements like "jeez you are an *** for suggesting anything like this." or "jeez you are lame." or any of that stuff.
beware of what you are getting yourself into before you get into it. no all the bad qualities about it before you even consider the good ones. that's advice for life, not just some turbo kit.
that should clear things up for you. before anyone flames this, just remember who owned you all because you all too hardheaded to understand what i was trying to say. then realize that your flame in response to what i've said ^ will only make you look like a jackass.

Interested if price is substantially lower than ATI Kit (assuming it will be completed).

Label me completely interested. I'm looking at the supercharger idea, but am way more partial to the idea of a turbo (even a TT). If it means waiting 6 more months, fine. I've got the patience.
I'd love to here any information you have about your current setup too Formula96. I've picked up that you removed the AC to get the turbo in, but where did you plan to put it if the AC stays in?
formula--i really don't appreciate your attitude towards me, and at the very least i would appriciate it if you would please answer my question from above...

The only reason I gave an attitude towards you was because you came into my topic clearly insulting me and everyone saw that. You werent asking a logical question, you were clearly mocking me. The only reason my heads cracked was that I used poor judjement when driving my car after the first install. My car was running very lean when the turbo was initially put on, and the fact that my car had 130,000 miles on it didnt help either. On top of that it didnt help that my car overheated before this whole ordeal happened. The turbo aided in causing severe detonation on a car that was not tuned at all for turbo. End of story.
Now to answer your question....I am not an expert of forced induction, but I am going to be working with people that are. Heads dont just crack, and the only way that they will with a turbo kit is if it is put on with no fuel or timing tuning and the boost is turned surpassed what the engine can handle. In my case it went to 11PSI, which now I am going to have it set for around 6 or 7, or whatever the dyno shows is a safe level to run at.
Like I said before, people that are willing to purchase this kit, if it is made, will clearly know before it is bought that it is safe on an engine in good running condition, that is taken care of properly, and that doesnt have sky high miles such as mine had. Even before talking to the makers I can say without a doubt that the kit will only warranty against failure or misfittments, or any defects what so ever to do with the kit itself, and anything included in the kit. I will under no circumstance warranty against engine failure. Im sorry, but that is the way it has to be. Does Nitrous Express warranty their kit not to blow your pistons through the side of your block? I dont think so, and im sure Powerdyne does not warranty that your heads wont crack if you put a smaller pully on either. If these power adders are used in moderation then that is fine, but if you decide to throw a 500 shot into your engine cause you just feel like running a 9 at the track, then thats your decision.
I believe your question is answered. Next question please.

Someone's on the edge...
What do you expect from your previous posts? I wouldn't reply to you either.

very well said might i add. back to my post--a little vague, but my comment did have a point, although i agree it did come off a little insulting. my apologies. you got my idea, and you answered. that's all i wanted to know. thank you.
The kit would be desinged for all 4th gen 3.8s up to the throttle by wire, unless that is no different from previous years. The only thing different I believe is the angle of the throttle body, which wouldnt be that big of a deal to adapt.
